On Sunday, June 1, 2025, the Kochi Business School Auditorium at Edachira hosted ‘Niravu 2025’. The Auditorium came alive with the spirit of giving and recognition during the event. This heartwarming community outreach event, ‘Niravu’, was jointly organized by Kochi Business School (KBS) and the Division Councillor of Thrikkakara Corporation.
The event was inaugurated by Shri. Hibi Eden, Hon. Member of Parliament, whose presence added immense value to the program. At the ceremony, 10 outstanding students residing in Kakkanad and Edachira, who secured top marks in Class 10, Class 12, and Degree examinations, were specially honored and awarded for their academic excellence. The award distribution was carried out by Hibi Eden, acknowledging their hard work and determination.
The highlight of the event was the distribution of educational supplies, including school bags, books, and other essentials, to 300 students from the Edachira locality. This remarkable undertaking sought to assist students in their academic endeavors and guarantee that they begin the school year with a fresh sense of inspiration and hope.
The program witnessed the presence of Smt. Radhamani Pillai, Chairperson of the Thrikkakara Municipal Council, was also part of the event. She distributed school supplies to the children, reinforcing the Corporation’s commitment to education and youth development.
Dr. Bindhu Ann Thomas, Principal of Kochi Business School, was also a huge part of the event. She addressed the gathering, encouraging students to continue their pursuit of learning with dedication. Her initiative and vision were evident in every detail of the program.
The event was presided over by Mr. Abdhu Shan, Councillor of Division 9, Thrikkakara Corporation. He played a crucial role in organizing and leading the event to success.
