Kochi Business School recently opened its doors to ambitious graduate students from across the region by organizing a free two-day KMAT (Kerala Management Aptitude Test) coaching program. This initiative was held on campus to help aspiring MBA candidates sharpen their skills and boost their confidence ahead of the upcoming KMAT exam.
The event saw enthusiastic participation from students representing various nearby colleges. With management education becoming increasingly competitive, the coaching program served as a valuable stepping stone for those looking to gain admission to top B-schools in Kerala and beyond.
The KMAT coaching session was carefully structured to offer both conceptual clarity and practical test strategies. Over two days, students were guided through the core components of the KMAT exam - Quantitative Aptitude, English Language Usage, Logical Reasoning, and General Knowledge. Each session was delivered by experienced faculty members from Kochi Business School, many of whom are seasoned educators and industry professionals.
The sessions were interactive, encouraging students to ask questions, solve problems in real time, and participate in group discussions. Live mock tests and quick revision quizzes added an element of excitement and helped attendees evaluate their performance under time constraints.
The KMAT Kerala exam is a management entrance exam conducted annually by the Commissioner of Entrance Examinations, Kerala, for admission to MBA programs. KMAT Kerala 2025 is a state-level exam, and its scores are accepted by various government and private business schools across the state. The exam is held twice a year and is a Pen and Paper Based Test (PBT). The announcement for KMAT Kerala is made in October, with the first session taking place in the first week of December, followed by the second session in July.
The success of the KMAT coaching program has reinforced Kochi Business School’s role as not just a center for higher education, but also as a hub for career empowerment. The college plans to conduct more such outreach programs in the future, including workshops, webinars, and entrance exam boot camps.
For the students who attended, this wasn't just a coaching session—it was a confidence boost, a chance to connect with peers, and a meaningful step forward on their journey toward a management career.
